We hope that we won't find anyone breaking the rules. But if we do, we want to make it clear that we won't be afraid to ban the account. Please read the rules from time to time because some things might be added or changed without an announcement on the main board. Thank you for your time and have a great role playing game experience.

General Forum Rules

*One player can have up to three different characters. However, to avoid any confusion, we have decided that there can be only one character per account. This means that you have to create another account for the additional character(s). To get a second character you must have been a member of the site for at least a month and been active during that month. To get a third character you must have been a member for at least 2 months and been active for those two months on both of your profiles.

*This forum is aimed at a general audience. That's why we don't allow anyone to post any pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links. Vulgar language is also not allowed.

*Members are asked to post in English only as this is an English speaking community. From time to time, short sentences or just a few words in your post in other languages are allowed but it is very important that an English speaker can understand the meaning of the post, though we would prefer everyone to post in the common language - English.

*Rudeness, profanity, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts will not be tolerated.

*Double posts are not allowed. We are really sorry but we would prefer to see an inactive topic than one full of "bumps, bumps, bumps".

*You are allowed to give a "shout out" to another site you are a part of or to your own website. We just ask that is kept to your signature and not in a thread.

*All the text size should be normal. Don't use very small text as it will make it harder for other members to be able to read it. Larger text is okay when necessary.

*Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

*Discussion of illegal activities (software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations) are not allowed.

*We don't allow any sex related content. This is a PG-13 forum, so any posts that have this kind of content will be deleted.

*Posts may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, spam, fraud, racism, or promote any illegal activity.

*Post in the Absence Thread if you will be away from the forum for a specific length of time so that everyone will know how long you will be gone.

Signature/Avatar Rules

*The last thing we want to see on the forum is the same model in for two different characters. For that we please ask every member to check the Already Claimed Faces thread where you will find the list of all of the taken models.

*Both the avatar and signature should have the same model/actor/actress/celebrity etc. We don't want to see your real life face because of privacy.

*Signatures should not be too long. We advise everyone to not use huge images because we don't want our page to load too slow for the users. We also ask that you keep the lines of text down to a minimum in your signature. Using normal text keep the number of lines to 6. Using larger text keep the number of lines to 3.

*If someone from the site made your avatar and or signature for you be sure to add that fact to your signature. He/She will be rewarded for his/her work.

RPG Rules

*You are not allowed to register as a canon character. We will already have certain canon characters on the site as professors, shop owners, etc. If you need a canon character added PM the admin and we will work out what you need.

*Please keep IC (in character) and OOC (out of character) separate. Don't forget that if you don't like someone's character that doesn't mean that you have to hate the person itself.

*"God-moding", "power-playing", or dishonest conduct are prohibited. No one is perfect, and no one is the best.

*You can't control other characters. You can control only yours, so please do not post the reactions and actions of anyone else except you.

*If you don't know anything about role-playing try to look for a guide first or just take a look at other members' posts to see how they are doing.

Chatbox Rules

*All of the general rules apply to chatbox too. Anyone breaking them can get banned.


*The most important rule of all is to have fun and enjoy the New Age Hogwarts.
